On April 10th Governor Ralph Northam signed SB 971 into law directing the Commonwealth Transportation Board to develop and adopt an Interstate 81 Corridor Improvement Plan. This plan will study I-81 corridor operations and safety, identify corridor improvement opportunities, and evaluate funding options.
