The Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (SAWMPO) released for public comment a draft Transit Section amendment to the FY2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Copies of the draft amendment will be available for public review at the following locations:
Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission (CSPDC), 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton
Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona
Staunton City Manager’s Office, 116 W Beverley Street, Staunton
Waynesboro City Manager’s Office, 503 W Main Street, Waynesboro
The draft amendment is also available online on the SAWMPO website, or by requesting a digital copy by calling the SAWMPO at 540-885-5174.
If you would like to submit written comments, request a public hearing, or if you have questions regarding this amendment, please contact the SAWMPO. Comments may also be made in person at the SAWMPO Policy Board meeting on September 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the CSPDC office, 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton. An official public hearing will be provided if requested in advance of this meeting by contacting the SAWMPO no later than Wednesday, August 25th.
