The Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (SAWMPO) released for public comment a draft amendment for ungrouping large and regionally significant transportation projects under “Construction: Safety/ITS/Operations Improvements” to the FY2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) in November 2022. The SAWMPO approved the amended document on December 7, 2022.
