VDOT is inviting the public to provide feedback on the FY2024-2029 Six-Year Improvement Program (SYIP) for public highway, road, bridge, rail, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit transportation projects. Comments will be accepted for new projects valued over $25 million. The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) will review public comments in June 2023. All federally eligible projects in the SYIP will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to document how Virginia will obligate its federal funds.
The public can attend the Staunton District regional SYIP meeting on May 3, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Community College Plecker Center to provide comments or submit comments online by May 24, 2023.
