The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) will conduct nine public meetings across Virginia to give citizens and stakeholders the opportunity to provide comments on transportation projects and programs. The public meeting for the Staunton District will be at 3:00 p.m. on October 28, 2019 at the Doubletree Hotel, 1400 E. Main Street in Harrisonburg. The meeting will include information and changes to the following VDOT programs:
Virginia’s project prioritization process (SMART SCALE)
Virginia’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Program
The VTrans Multimodal Transportation Plan and Needs Assessment
The Highway Safety Improvement Program.
Representatives from the Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment (OIPI), the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), and the Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) will be in attendance to highlight their transportation programs. Comments will be accepted at the meeting and may also be submitted online at www.CTB.Virginia.gov, emailed to PublicComments@oipi.virginia.gov, or submitted in writing to the OIPI Deputy Director at 1401 E.
