The Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (SAWMPO) is releasing for a 21-day public comment period an amendment to the FY24 – 27 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which documents transportation projects receiving federal funding. The amendment reflects additional funding for preventive bridge maintenance. Copies of the TIP amendment are available online at: https://sawmpo.org/short-range-planning/.

Written comments may be submitted until 5:00 p.m. on June 26, 2024, to the SAWMPO Administrator, 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton, VA 24401, or call to request our email address. Comments may also be made in person at the next scheduled SAWMPO meeting. An official public hearing will be provided if requested in advance of the meeting. To request a public hearing, contact the CSPDC Office no later than June 26, 2024.
