VDOT Local Assistance Division has announced the details and applicant workshop schedule for the next round of Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside funds that can be used for bicycle and pedestrian projects.
**The most important change is that beginning this application cycle VDOT will begin accepting applications every other year instead of annually. This means that after this application cycle, the next opportunity to apply for a TA Set-Aside grant will be in the fall of 2019.**
Applications to the TA Set-Aside program are due by November 1, 2017.
Potential TA Set-Aside grant applicants should plan to attend one of the following workshops for a full overview of the TA Set-Asides program and application process.
