The Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (SAWMPO) hereby releases for public comment the draft Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), and the draft FY2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the public facilities where the document can be reviewed are closed in accordance with the recommendations by the Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Copies of the draft documents may be reviewed online at the following links: Draft FY 2021 UPWP and Draft FY 2021 - 2024 TIP. A print copy of the draft documents will be made available upon request by calling the SAWMPO at 540-885-5174, x120. Meeting schedule changes due to the Coronavirus will also be posted on the SAWMPO website.
Written comments on either document may be submitted to the SAWMPO Administrator, 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton, VA 24401 or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 pm on May 5, 2020. Comments may also be made in person at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the SAWMPO Policy Board at the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission (CSPDC), 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton. An official public hearing will be provided if requested in advance of the meeting. To request a public hearing, contact the SAWMPO.
